How does it work?
IPL Hair Reduction is one of the most commonly done cosmetic procedures in the U.S. It emits a flash of light and heat into hair follicles and skin. Pigment in the follicles and skin levels absorb the light and heat. That is what limits the growth or hair. IPL also targets skin coloring or "Pigment" in skin, so it best utilized for those who have lighter skins. Columnated Laser is often a better choice for darker skinned beauties. A treatment cycle, typically consists of 4-8 applications dependent on the reason we are treating and Sun Screen is a MUST when under treatment.
DISCLOSURE
IPL is not the same as columnated laser. The mannerisms in which this machine is operated are governed solely by the Certified Laser Technician. We do not "hit" clients at higher exposure levels because they ask to be "hit" or based on previous treatment providers. IPL Treatments echo the same affect at sunburn. If a treatment outside of the manufacturer's direction just to feel a "hit" is prohibited by our insurance and is unethical.

Due to State Laws and our Insurance Requirements NO CHILDREN UNDER AGE 12 will be permitted in the Treatment room during treatments. If you cannot make arrangements for your children to be cared for, you will have to reschedule.
